The Andrea Dennis LaVigne Scholarship for Advancing Diversity was established in celebration of LaVigne's long history of service at the University of Connecticut. The endowed scholarship initiated with a $50,000 gift from an anonymous donor and a matching gift from former UConn athletic director Lew Perkins and his wife Gwen, has continued through the gifts of alumni and friends in partnership with the UConn Foundation.
